MEET KEN RHODEN

I have over 26 years of experience aggressively representing thousands of clients. I have tried hundred of cases including complex death penalty cases, first degree murders, capital sexual batteries, robbery, burglary, drug trafficking, kidnapping and many other felonies and misdemeanors, including DUI.  I am also experienced in appeals and other post conviction work including Florida Supreme Court Appeals.

Over the past 26 years I worked 12 years in the Public Defender's Office (Brevard & Seminole) where I participated in every criminal division and was part of the elite Capital Crimes Division handling complex cases including death penalty and other serious felonies.  I  have been an owner/managing partner of the largest and most experienced criminal and family firm in Brevard County for the past 14 years.  I have extensive experience in family law cases including sophisticated divorce trials and appeals, parental time sharing and planning, complicated financial records in divorce, paternity, child support, and other family/divorce law cases.  I am one of only a few local attorneys that is Qualified under Florida Supreme Court Rules to try Death Penalty Cases.

I have been a Brevard County Resident since 1975.  I worked my way through Brevard Community College, graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Central Florida in 1983, and then from the Florida State College of Law in 1985.  I was admitted to the Florida Bar in 1986.  I have 2 beautiful daughters, a large, close, and loving family, a fiance' and a rescued dog from a local organization.
